Is the advice and information on the packet changing?

It is important to read the label and follow the advice given. Label wording on metaldehyde-based pellets is being revised to encourage the use of only the right amount of pellets in the right place at the right time. For metaldehyde based slug pellets this is just 3 to 5 pellets across an area the equivalent to the size of an A4 piece of paper. Only put pellets around the plants you need to protect and they should only be used when slugs and/or plant damage is seen.
