When is the right time to use slug pellets?

Only apply pellets when you see slugs and / or plant damage. Slug activity is usually at its peak during damp and warm evenings, particularly following rainfall. Remember you only need to apply 3-5 metaldehyde based pellets across the area equivalent to the size of an A4 piece of paper.
